So I finally got a job. Target hired me as a protection specialist, which basically makes me the security person you see typically standing at the door. I'm way, way overqualified and I'm pretty sure I'm going to feel like a complete moron in the outfit, but it's something, so I guess I can't really complain. Besides that, I had another interview today at Lutheran Social Service to work part time with developmentally disabled women in Coon Rapids. The interview went really well so I'm thinking I'll probably be offered that job as well. Which is good, considering I did the math and the Target job will cover exactly my bills and nothing more.
But on the way home from the LSS interview, my car was acting really weird. I pulled off in Blaine and checked out my back tire. It felt like the wheel was loose or something, but that wasn't it. Some guys pulled over to help me and it turned out the the thing connecting my wheel to the brake line was completely broken off and just kinda bouncing around inside the center of the wheel. So GREAT, I finally get a job and will probably end up with a ridiculously high fix-it bill. The car is new, for god's sake. It's really not something I can pay right now. I paid all my bills except for my car payment and I have a grand total of $500. Thank god I have some kinda job, I guess. I just really wish I wouldn't have had to touch my savings. Cuz I doubt I'll be able to get it back for a while.
I'm just so tired. It's really lame. I hardly do anything, but I'm exhausted. And I've tried exercising and stuff... the wii fit is amazing. Try hula hooping for ten minutes. Surprisingly not very easy. But it doesn't matter... I sleep like 10 hours a night and I'm still tired. I need to find a non-caffeinated way to re-energize. I honestly hope working helps.
